I went to rewire my whole TV home audio system. in doing so i found out my tv only has a digital audio port . and my stereo reciever/amp is not equip. with one only female right and left channel ports.
is there a cable avail that can switch to what i need .
also if they do whats it called and who sells them . i did some searching on-line but came up empty or was looking in all the wrong places .
the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me. :help

So are you saying that your TV has only an optical out? My father-in-law just ran into this as well & I told him to grab one of these:

However, if you only have the coaxial digital outputs, then yeah, $50ish.
