Scary as that is, there are much larger with price tags to go with. 42 seems to be my happy place. Though up to 50 wouldn't ruin my day.

My last one was a 55" Visio. The Visio's are a very good deal. Reasonably priced (especially through Sams Club or Costco) and yet they generally get very good reviews.

I have 3 Visios (two 32's and the 50) and I'm very happy with them. I also like their very simple and intuitive remotes.

46" sony or samsung seems to be the std anymore. I have a sony bravia and love it.

display size should fit the viewing distance...anything too big or too small in a room isn't the best choice...

46" Sharp / 32" Vizio (my favorite) / 32" Samsung. My next will be a 55" vizio when I save up and I can find a good deal online.

Best Buy branded TV? That sounds kind of scary. I bet it's a re-branded Visio though.

Isn't their brand "Insignia" (sp)?

Oh yeah. Dynex is another Best Buy house brand. Hope Insignia is better than the Dynex stuff.

It's probably all made by someone else and re-branded.
