I don't get the physics of this table. To me it looks fake. I know that you can get a top to levitate on a magnet but the top needs to be going pretty fast.

Oh I can see physics, but I don't see how they can accurately control the height of the turntable, or how accurately it stays centered. The first problem they could solve with a height sensor that dynamically regulates the magnetic field. I can't see how you could avoid some wow and flutter. Be interesting to see if they can actually put it in production.

I'm curious how they regulate the speed at which it turns. Seems like you couldn't breathe on that thing w/o it getting thrown off somehow.
