Orson Scott Card: Ender in Exile

This book is supposed to be the direct sequel to Ender's Game. I read it with hope that it would live up to the original, however, it seemed hollow. There wasn't really a particularly notable climax & the side stories (for which he spent a good amount of time developing characters for) were all resolved with little to no drama. It's still a very readable book & has a bit of intrigue, but in the end fell flat for me. I guess most of the blame is the fact that this book is intended to fit between the other books in this series & there was a limited amount of time in which to do it.

I was thinking about reading Ender's Game. How many books are in this series?

Thanks for the review.

Twelve if you count the one he's writing. Ender's Game is a must read IMO. Helps a lot if you don't know the plot though.
