Good old Horatio Hornblower/Richard Bolitho Napoleonic war stuff with dragons. Very well written and funny as well. I found the first book on the cruise and read most of it, but had to return it to ship library.

There are 8 books in the series and I am drooling to get my hands on them. I love this genre, and the addition of dragons - which come in different types and have different personalities is done very well.

Series has won a bunch of awards and Peter Jackson optioned it. She was a lead designer on Neverwinter Nights....
