I cant wait any longer. the ak35 just sucks....then again it is gana go into my briefcase so I shouldnt knock it to much hehe

So which one is good? I was looking at the new abit one (NF7-s v1.2)...but abit sucks usually. Im not a big fan ot MSI or asus eithor...so what am I left with?

tritto (sounds like it should follow ditto) on the Epox 8RDA+. Get one and you'll be impressed. It is the best board I have ever bought. :)

Whats the sould like on that board?

So I need a different chipset heatsink? I prefer the passive ones. like the zalim or what ever its name is. That is what I use on my 2 kt266a's boards.

The onboard sound is pretty good. I have a Logitech Z-640 5.1 speaker setup connected to it with the 6 channel sound working great. :)

Yet another quality product from VIA.

Yeah I read ABIT and Asus have both canceled their KT400A Mainboards.

And VIA announced the KT600 chipset which people were pleased to hear was on the way. :E

http://www.digitimes.com/NewsShow/Artic ... =04&seq=21
"Following the recent launch of its K7-based KT400A chipset, VIA is planning to release one more product, the KT600, for the AMD platform in May. According to sources, the KT600 (codenamed KT400A-CE) is pin-to-pin compatible with the KT400A (codenamed KT400A-CD), but is designed to support a 400MHz FSB. The KT400A only supports a 333MHz FSB."
