i've got the upgrade itch! :)
So let me get this right:

If i buy a 750 Duron and a Abit KT7 mobo. I can run the pci and agp at spec'd speed (33MHz/66MHz) and just oc the cpu with memory bus from 100 to 133, and run this puppy on 1GHz (theoretically)?? Just for the record, i have Mosel PC133 RAM :)

the real oc with the duron is the multiplier, not the fsb

i have a 700 that will run 7x120 or 9.5 x 105 - the via chipset does not overclock well, at least with an increased nultiplier

there was a thread (anands?) which stated that when you increase the cpu clock it also brings up the pci/agp clock even though it doesn't look that was in the bios

it's a cheap way top get real horsepower though - i have also got a tbird 650 cheap which goes to 850 -
