Will a P3 733 slot one work with either the BX6r2 or a MSI 6163 pro?

Thanks,

because those are BX boards it's "iffy" If your video card will take the 89mhz agp clock, IF your ram will do 133mhz, if all your pci devices will take that kind of abuse, if your motherboard will take it, and if your bios will take it.

worst case is you're running it at 550

Pick up an ASIS P3V4X I got one at beatprice.com for $99 and have not had any trouble and it has been very stable

same suggestion comin from me. I've not been overly happy with either Abit or Microstar (2 bad boards out of 3 from MSI, and not a single "good" abit out of the dozen or so I've used). But that Asus board is one of the best for stability, price and speed. If you go flip-chip, look at the Asus Cusl2
