i thought my 100MHz FSB P3 1GHz@1.26GHz is the best i can do with my BE-6 II, but with a recent mod, i got to make a tualatin celeron (or tualeron) 1.2GHz chip work and OVERCLOCK to 1.53Ghz!

modding for tulatin

Just what mods did you have to make to get the tulatin to work? I've got a Abit BF6 and a Abit slotket, the one with voltage selections. I'd love to put a 1.2 ghz tulatin in this baby, and overclock it. All you had to do was insulate those 3 pins? If its that easy, which pins do I need to insulate? Fill me in brother. Your screen shots/performance is excellent, congrats. Thx for any info, guidance on this.

Lotta guys just doing the 3 pin wrap to mod up for the celerons. I picked up an Asus Tuv4x and a celeron 1.1a and have it at 133fsb for 1.466 right now with a bigger fan at default voltage, 1.502v reported, as this bios/mb apparently cant adjust voltage although I was told it would.
Hardforums have a lot of info about this. The 1.0A and 1.1A celerons are quite popular for this.
My last two 900 celerons both went to 1.2 on my old BX mb without anything other than a larger than stock fan but nothing fancy. For anyone with a comfy old BX mb the 900s are a great value, all cdo steppings & the best overclocking value in the celeron II lineup.
Still great value in these celerons and the temps top out where the XP's idle!
