I have a P3 600e that I have been running at 800 Mhz for a few months or so. I decided to try to take it a little higher and raised the FSB to 140 giving me 841 Mhz. What I don't get is how this lowered CPU temp? At 800 it ran at about 34-37c now at 841 it is running about 31-34c these temps are under full load running SETI

lol hehe, maybe after running liek that it burned in, lots guys will say burn in is true, lots say its not, i dunno myself, but when i first got my t-bird 900 it would post at 1ghz but woud be very very unstable wouldn't load 2k sometimes. after i used it for a couple weeks with the cheap fan that came with it it ran hot but stable, then i put a new Fop32-1 still no good at 1ghz, but after a month or two of running straight, 1 ghz is doing fine under 2k cept for some littlw quirks because i dunno how to overclock ;)
