yea...but I wouldnt buy any thing that company makes. it is always cheap.

I would look at one of these instead. they are all pretty quiet and cool well.

or this

the first to are on the cheaper side (price wise) and the third is the best of the 3.

Not to hijack your thread or anything cr3do, but I'm looking into getting one of those for my 1800+.. Greg, would that be a good one for OCing it to 2200+ speeds once I get some DDR? Or should I get an SLK-800? I like that the TMD cools almost the entire HS and doesn't mess the 3/4" circle of the HS the current fans do. eGo

Hey, this link to the fan on Vantec's website only recommends it up to 1.4ghz... So I don't know if I'd wann put that on my 1700+. Greg will chime in and say what he thinks as well. And the other one is a P4 fan so it wouldn't work on your CPU. I don't think.. The clips won't hold it to the Zif.. eGo

What EGO said. :) first one you would be pusing it, and the second one is for a P4 not a tbird.

as for that tdm setup yea, it shoudl be just fine for what you are talking about.

the slk800 is a superior heatsink in every way to it but at the price it would cost that vantec is a bargin.

The XP also runs at 1.47ghz vs. the TBird running at 1.33. There's a little speed difference there. eGo
