Nforce? KT400? Wait a while longer?

The upgrade itch is rearing its ugly head again. Currently running an XP2000+ (almost a year old!!!!) at 1800 with the stock multiplier and a 145 FSB. Board is Rev. 1 Shuttle AK35GTR and I have two sticks of 256 mb PC 2100 (crucial and kingston). My CPU is still locked, my efforts to unlock it in the past have failed, and my eyes ain't getting any better. So I know what my max FSB is, but I don't know why - CPU, RAM, or Mainboard.
Anyway, I see the T-Bred B's out there and think - even though I have plenty of speed now - that it might be cool to go that route. Has my mainboard, even with better RAM, hit its limit at 145 mhz FSB? If it ain't my board, it certainly would be logical to expect that my PC2100 won't go much faster, so I would be into new RAM if I want a toasty FSB. If I buy new RAM, should I go with a single stick of 512 or buy two sticks to go in a NForce for dual channel? Worse yet, if I go to a new mainboard, should I go Nforce or KT400 or wait for the inevitable KT400a?
Inquiring minds want to know...
Thanks
