Man are they expensive!! I "was" thinking about raiding those new Diamond Max 9's, but, I think I may reconsider. Anyone know how the actual "raid" performance is?

Jeez, I almost want ATA133 on the A7N8X more than I want SATA Raid... Anyways, anyone know where I could get these things cheap? The cheapest one on newegg was $25 shipped. Also, do these things plug directly into your ATA drive? If so, man, will they look ugly. These big things sticking out of your ATA drive. I don't want to have to spend $70 on a ATA133 controller...

Anyways, opinions here?

For more A7N8X questions, look at my other thread. ;)

The A7N8X does have ATA133 support from the NForce 2 chipset.

Yeah, I know that. I might want to raid though. (I meant to put "ATA 133 Raid" :o Also, I want my burner and dvd rom on seperate channels all by themselves though. :D I guess I'm gettin a little greedy. However, the main point, was what if I want to raid?

I think that's the only thing I don't like about the Asus board. Other than that, it is pretty sweet, with sweet sound and dual channel DDR. Sure is a nice board. :D
