I have an Epox 7KXA Slot A mobo and I have lost 2 cdrom drives. Both were new drives. Acer 50x and a Delta 52x. Both drives made a strange clunking noise and then a blue screen followed. I am now using a scsi drive. Has anyone heard of a mobo taking out cd drives ?

I had an afreey 56x go out on me when i moved it to another machine. the thing worked great till i decided to move it.
