Anyone know what the file extension .rb0 is?

Post by Kakarot »

one of my users asked me today about it. He looked in his "My Documents" folder to open a file and a lot of his word documents had exact doubles of themselves with a .rb0 extension. They still opened in word if you double clicked them. I can't seem to find what this extension means or where these files came from. My only guess is from when I ran a virus scanner over the system it did find a lot of the word documents were infected with a stupid lil macro virus. It cleaned them, so I figured maybe it created those files for whatever reason. BTW thats R B 0=zero not "oh". TIA
"Why build only one when you can build two for twice the price?"
