FF automatically updates on my PCs every time a new version comes out. I'm amazed at just how often that's been lately.

FF is on more machines, and as such security organizations are scrutinizing it for flaws more closely now. Meanwhile hackers are more an more desperate to find ways to hack your system.

What's encouraging is that FF releases fixes for newly discovered exploits very quickly. Microsoft sometimes takes a long time to patch an exploit.

Mine updated automatically too. Since the update firefox is using less than half the memory it did before.
