Someone found a way to bypass Windows 7 Extended Security Updates checks

Post by FlyingPenguin »

This, in theory, would allow your Win7 PC to get critical updates after Jan 2020 without paying for extended support.

No way to know if MS will block the hack, but we'll see.

I can't figure out where the files are to download? I have a VM that runs 7 and I can install it on that to see if it will work.

You go here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/thread ... ity.80606/

But you need to sign up an account to get access to the download info apparently.
