Windows 10 Networking AGAIN

Post by Executioner »

I updated my laptop to 20H2 - no issues. I then updated my desktop to the same version 20H2. My shortcuts I had for accessing either my laptop or desktop is now asking for "enter network credentials". It was working just fine with 1909 version. My desktop and laptop boot right to the desktop without a password.

UPDATE: got it fixed. For some reason, it changed my setting in Network Sharing Center.

Yeah, there are several things an update will reset, for security reasons, and if you didn't have password sharing enabled it probably turned that on.
