How to Transfer a Windows 10 or 11 License to Another PC

Christians warn us about the anti-christ for 2,000 years, and when he shows up, they buy a bible from him.

I think I had to do that once with win7; however, they don't tell you what to do if you have a hard drive that crashed. How would you go about getting your original license back on the new hardware?

If you don't change the mobo, then 10 and 11 will just automatically work on it. The license is locked to the hardware signature. Changing the HDD won't affect that.

If you do change the mobo, sadly you may need a new license, unless you registered the license via a Microsoft account. I refuse to use a Microsoft account, though.
