OT-Help!! Need advice on a digital camera ASAP
I'm in need of a digital camera that i need to purchase before the weekend is here. I got a couple hundred dollars to use and i realize most times you get what you pay for, so in that range, what is a good brand, model, specs, etc? I need this in my possession by Saturday so buying online is probably out of the question. I don't have a Best Buy nearby, but i do have a circuit city. what should i be looking for in that range or specifically a model to look for. Thanks

They also have an olympus c-211 for 179 after the discount. it has optical zoom, main difference. Shipping is slow from HSN though.
Good ones are Fuji, HP, Olympus, Nikon, most name brands. Be sure what you get has ccd imaging and if you need zoom then forget what is called "digital zoom". It just enlarges the center thereby lowering quality. If you need zoom then look for "optical zoom". That is true zoom.
Otherwise decent ones at local stores now on sale include a Fuji 1.3 megapixel for 179 at Target and K Mart, Circuit City has a deal on a Sony DSCP20 1.3 megapixel for 199, includes a 32meg card free after rebate and Office depot has a HP 315 2.1 megapixel for 199 with free 32mb card and reader after rebate.
