Anyone need a couple of Sprint Evo 4G phones?

Free to a good home.

Phones are locked to Sprint but they should also work with Ting Mobile since they let you bring just about any Sprint phone to their service (they use Sprint towers for their service): http://dqydj.net/review-ting-cell-phone-service/

Before Samsung stole the Android market, this was the most popular Android phone on Sprint. It was also the largest screen Android phone you could buy in 2011.

Phones were originally purchased March 2011, although one was replaced under maintenance contract in 2013 with a factory refurb. No cracks or major scratches, except where the paint is scratched away around the charge jack on the wife's phone. Buttons all still work. Wife's phone still has a screen protector - I never bothered with one.

Slow processor by today's standards, but a decent phone as long as you don't load it up with too many background apps. Be aware that the built-in Internet browser has a security flaw that will not be addressed due to firmware limitations, so I'd recommend you install Dolphin browser or Chrome instead. They're running Android 2.3.5

Both have microSD cards installed (one 8GB and the other has a 16GB stick).

Standard microUSB charge jack. I'll toss in a couple of wall chargers. I have a three cases for them as well.

This phone has a kick-stand - a feature I sorely miss on modern phones.

Both phones had their batteries replaced in 2013 (battery is removable) and you can still buy replacements on Amazon (I would recommend the ones made by Anker - that's what I bought last time. They have a bit higher capacity than the originals, and there's lots of fake originals around:

Photo of the two phones sitting next to my modern Moto-X (last year's). As you can see the screen size is not much smaller than the Moto-X:
