No worse than Dell IMO. Like any OEM you get what you pay for.

back in the day of p-2 -333 bought a new one - it had problems ok it happens . hp swap it and offer me a p3- 366 in exchange for the one I bought . but they forgot to tell me they were only going to warranty it for 90 days .even do it was a factory new unit. also my fault seeing I didn't ask . if they would give the 1 year warranty there machines were given back then . but because they exchanged my unit my warranty was just for the time left on the one I originally bought new . also i took a extended warranty from office depot .that went away when hp did the exchange .so i was double screwed . live and learn was a life lesson .at the time it was my work machine I ran my company from. after that I made my own machines . I got a major contract and needed a computer and printer for a program . my old machine didn't have the guts to run it at the time. so I ran right out to officemax and bought a off the shelf unit. this was why I bought a HP unit . it was that or buying a emachine avail in store if memory correct . it cost me like $2500.00 or $3500.00 that night for the printer and computer without a monitor.
