Her name is Hannah...and thanks for the compliments :) Good luck with your wedding and everything - it's hard work to get it all together and done with. My wife and I are having some "issues" lately....and I have only seen my little sweetheart 3 times in the past 3 weeks. I guess it just goes to show that people aren't always what they seem.....I'm working on my situation and trying my best to see my daughter no matter how evil her mother can be. For those of you that pray, we could really use your prayers...and for those of you that don't - you can always send positive thoughts my way. Take care y'all.

Thank you so much for your prayers and kind words, once again! I met my wife via my brother - they were best friends and had met on the internet. I met her a long time ago, at least it feels like it...but we have been dating for 3 years...married for 1 year and 5 months. We got married on May 17, 2003. I hope things work out between us, too...but I fear she's given up....and when a woman's fed up - there ain't nothing you can do about it. Too bad she can't even tell me what I did wrong. :(
Good luck with all the events coming up in your life....and remember one thing - always love your man as God loves you - and everything will be ok.

Sheerdark, I don't know you, but after reading this thread, I feel like I do in some respects. Your beautiful little girl reminded me of mine.

Your situation reminds me of mine as well. You see, my wife and I separated when my daughter was a little over 1 year old. We filed the papers, told ourselves we hated each other, told each other that we hated the other one, etc. Two weeks before the divorce was final, my wife and I started talking when my daughter got sick and had to be hospitalized. She was pretty sick, and we thought we might lose her, but she pulled through. That crisis brought my wife and I back together.

Next week, my wife and I are going on a little trip to celebrate our anniversary. I can't believe this myself, but we will be married for 30 years! (Yeah, OK, I'm an ole' fart.)

Don't give up, and don't let your pride get in the way! Tell your wife what she means to you. I know it is hard to do when you aren't certain how she will react. However, you will never forgive yourself if you don't do everything you can now....

Good Luck, and I'll pray for you all three! ...KenT

No problem. I know I have a good man and he knows he has a good woman. :) Just keep your chin up and we'll all keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Dang man. :(

You hang in there ok and don't give up. I wish the very best for you and that things eventually will work themselves out.

Maybe try not talking much with her for now and focus on the kids instead. Sometimes females just need time away to rethink things. Please don't let her get to you too much. But I know how hard that can be. But hang in there. k ;)

Wish I had better advice for you.

Good luck man.

Kids need their dads. I mean some dads should have nothing to do with their kids...like Mine, but you are a good guy so I hope the best for you...and your "family"

Thank you! That's really nice of you to offer. Maybe some night we can go out for some drinks or something (I am assuming you're 21). I'll keep it in mind. Luckily, I have lots of support in my friends and family...but no one can ever have too many friends!

I agree totally...and it's awful that in the courts' eyes...the Dad really has little rights to an infant after divorce. This is one of the main reasons I am so worried about divorce. An infant, which even at 11 months, our child would be considered to be....the courts would not allow full custody to the father (unless the mother is useless and you can prove it), or even overnight visits until 16 months old (not positive on that number, but it's close). So, I'm better off trying to work things out. The counseling session seemed to go pretty well and we have another one for next Friday. Until then, we are not to have any contact with each other that does not involve our child....so hopefully this will turn out for the best. Thanks for all the support, y'all.
