need a pos laptop

that either has wireless or I can put a wireless card in. Dont care if the battery doesn't stay charged long.

Just a CHEAP POS...that works.

I may be able to acomodate. What price range & what's it to be used for. I've got some Compaq M300's that I'd let go cheap. Small screens, but I love them for scanning car's computers & on the road GPS.

how do you scan a car computer with a laptop?

It connects to the cars computer like a mechanic does. It's not as extensive as their machines are, but it is much more thorough than the hand held deals. A must for working on newer cars IMO.

It is the one I have. Works fine. The bigger issue is getting the right software to run it. There are a bunch of companies that make use of it though (including elm).

I have one, but I wouldn't inflict that POS on anyone. I don't think I good even give it away with a good conscience :lol
