Re: "The Orville" - new sci-fi show

I haven't seen the last one, but yeah, the one before that was a bit... special. I get what they were going at, but still.

All caught up. I loved the last two episodes. VERY reminiscent of Star Trek Next Gen episodes. Especially the last one with the planet that believes in Astrology.

I saw the third episode last night. Really enjoyed it. Though, it's kinda pathetic that he was still in love with what was admitted acting.

Re: "The Orville" - new sci-fi show
It's funny. The new Star Trek series feels like the reboot movies, while The Orville feels like old fashioned Star Trek

Re: "The Orville" - new sci-fi show
Okay just finished watching the Orville two-parter and I must say that was a great episode. Really felt the most like a next generation episode. They weren't bashful about having dark moments.
The humour was still there but very lightly and just right.

Re: "The Orville" - new sci-fi show
Just watched the most recent episode. I can't say I ever expected them to go so epic.
