A while back (maybe a month) I posted a question about dual cpus in this forum and Doc Silly pretty much summed it up.

Although the idea sounds tempting to most at first, the average PC user gains nothing by going that route vs just upgrading to the latest single cpu, mobo, ram combo (oh, I'll add a good, fast HDD as well, often apparently neglected by some who upgrade often). The dual cpu use has only a few real advantages to a few situations that many of us here would never really need. It's not like you'll get twice the power or speed.

yea...But this is the New amd stuff. who really cares if it is practical...its the new king on the block.

Yeah, those are not AMD sockets, at least they don't LOOK like AMD sockets.

The pin count is too high, and the layout is too dense.
