Selling my gaming system 4 cheap

Post by timritzer »

I have had problems I was told it is because of a inadiquate power supply>
but I do not want to mess with it runs FINE super stable at 200 FSB (turns
processor down to 750) but is not very stable at 266 ( 1 gighrz) I do not
know, it works fine at 750 (i have been running at that for 3 mnths or so)
but ..... It is NOT defective parts of any sort because I have RMAed all of
them already (cept Power supply)
a 1 gighrz athlon 266 FSB version
K7S5A Mobo ( integrated LAN)
30 gig Hard Drive ATA 100 7200 RPM
256 mb Micron PC 2100 DDR
SB Live! 5.1 Dolby digital Surround sound
Geforce2 GTS 32 mb DDR (visiontek)
56k modem
44X CD-ROM
17" DELL (made By SONY) Trinitron Monitor ( I love this it handles
1600X1200
and is COMPLETELY flat)
Black Dell 4 Button Mouse w/ Wheel (works good feels cool (is ergonomic)
Keyboard
Can include speakers but they will be extra
I am asking $650 will take a little less (will knock quite a bit if you
dont
need monitor) send offers by e-mail

One should not be sincere in what one says - sincerity is an unpardonable mannerism of style.

there's a documented problem with that motherboard running 133 fsb and ddr ram. Apparently, its caused by a defect in the manfacturing process of some of the newer boards. Some people say it only affects tb 1.2's, but from experience it affects other speeds as well.

@ 133 and ddr, there's constant and random locks, and sometimes the system won't even get into windows. It'll run 100% stable at 100 fsb.

the mobo may not be defective in a sense because this is something that most of the new boards have.

swapping to SDR should run fine.
