Not much difference between the Sennheiser earbuds and regular ones. Actually, I got these with am MP3 player but liked the sound of my Sony's better. Virtually unused in a small plastic wind up case.

Yes, I believe so. The slots are long and rectangular to fit all kinds of chips large or small as long as they only have pins on 2 sides.
