-i have this weird problem:
every single filesharing program i've downloaded (the gnutellas, rapigator's, even shuban) on my system Crash whenever they try to connect, each with various "errors": invalid page faults, fault in kernel 32, fault in #c0000005 etc-
can someone clue me in as to what in the world is wrong? my regular internet connection with explorer and netscape works fine, as does norton live update-
why do only P2P's crash?
All P2P File Sharers Crash!
Wild guess ( SWAG ) : Memory problem? It might be that each of these applications, all similar in what/how they do it, access a portion of memory that isn't used often. CAn you try swapping mem out for a single chip, or moving the modules to other mem slots?
The NIC also feels right, but that would be a RARE one in my experience. I remember FP saying he has seen NIC's cause rebooting many times due to overflow, tho I haven't.
That's what makes fixing PC/Networks so much fun!

download regcleaner from http://www.download.com use it to clean up your registry. Sound like you may have orphaned files left from previous installs causing your system to hang. Good luck.
