I remember this one time I was copying the original quake .pak file to my friend, it was only about 18megs but on a 56k thats pretty big. I started it before I went to bed and when I woke up it was still going, so then I went fishing and when I came back, it said it was cancelled, I was thinking "WTF?!" Turns out my friend was getting figity in the last couple seconds and acidentally hit the keyboard cancelling the download.
Oh well, not my loss. Turns out he had the demo and we could have just used that .pak file (he was tryin' out this mod).... So thats probably the biggest thing I've uploaded on a 56k. I've downloaded the q2 3.20 patch several times which is about 19meg. I got cable pretty quickly once my friend showed it off to me
