Heh, amen to that. Almost the end of the year so I'm starting to look at end-of-year tax stuff. I have OOHH so many options on what to sell for capital losses! Lets see, I could drop Cisco at 42 (bought at 60), AMD at 15 (bought at 28), Applied Materials at 40 (bought at 95), or CMGI at 7 1/2 (bought at 104!!). Ugh...
On a long enough time line, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.
Splitfire, don't sell any of it. Hang in there for the long term. I gaurantee you that at least one of those companies will make you lots of money if you hold it there.

The only time we were in the stock business was when we were given a few hundred shares of Sunlife insurance co's IPO offerings. Got it @ 10 and sold @ 21 Used it to finance our trip to Vegas, couldn't have been happier
