Need some prayer help...

Post by vwkess »

...for a friend of mine who has Leukemia. He was diagnosed with it a year and a half ago and was undergoing treatment. Looked like he was going to pull through, in fact he looked great just 3 months ago. Things took a turn for the worse a couple of weeks ago. He'll be spending his remaining days at home with his family. Unfortunately he's too doped up on morphine to really tell who's around. :( He'll be leaving behind an 8 y.o. son and a 10 y.o daughter along with his wife. I'd appreciate it if you all could keep him and his family in your prayers; they really need it :(

That is heartwrenching....I pray that everything works out for the best. Life can really suck sometimes. I have seen cancer take more people out of my life than I want to think about. It is a really scary illness. Take care all.

Thanks guys :)
Sheerdark, overall I'd say I've been fortunate. I could count on one hand the number of funerals I've had to go to for friends/family that have passed. Cancer is scary; quite sad how it can ravage the body. :( Its hard to see someone you care about look like that and be in such pain.

Thanks Blade, I just read the news page. I appreciate the plug :)
