FS: New Nexland ISB SOHO Router, OCZ PC3000 DDR Memory, Thermaltake Geforce4 Cooling

Post by justinliu »

Hey Everyone...

I've got a brand new Nexland ISB SOHO 4-Port Router. This thing is much better than any of those regular routers you can buy in stores. This one is currently selling for $250+ in stores(http://www.nexland.com/products/product.cfm?id=6). I'm willing to let it go for $145 Shipped. Remember, it's brand new unused! SOLD

I also have a 256MB stick of OCZ PC3000 (183MHz) Memory 256MB. It's built on a Red PCB and comes with HeatSpreaders. I'll let this go for $70 shipped

The next item up for grabs is a brand new Thermaltake Geforce4 Copper Cooling Kit (Model: G4-VGA). Comes with the GPU Cooler and Ramsinks. -$25 Shipped

I've also got some ATA-100 Cables. $5 each.

If your interested, email me: justinliu@telus.net
I'm also in need of a KT333 motherboard.

Just curious, how is it better than the routers you see in stores? And this isn't a cheeky rhetorical quesiton.. ;)

Quote from Speedguide.net:

The ISB-SOHO includes a 4-port full-duplex switch, capable of 200MBps throughput on all 4 LAN ports. The WAN interface is capable of 8MBps bi-directional throughput, which is more than enough for current residential broadband connections, and much higher than competing products.

Some other Notable Features of the unit include:

Browser-configurable MAC address, host and domain names - those features make it compatible with virtually any ISP. Even if your provider has your service bound to the hardware MAC address of the Ethernet card (NIC) in your PC, you simply need to plug-in the number in the unit's browser interface.
Configurable MTU - you can even control packet size !
IP-range based external access.
DMZ - One exposed host, with two-way unlimited access
VPN Pass through - Single Session IPSec & L2TP (multi-session in the Pro Line), Multi-Session PPTP
Here's the full review: http://www.speedguide.net/reviews/n...oho/index.shtml

As you can see, the Nexland router offers a large number of features that no other competing routers provide. All configuration is done through your internet browser which makes setup extremely easy. It's far better than any Linksys/D-Link product.
