Sorry for the lack of updates here. I just got a new job, and it's cutting into my computer fooling around time.

I dug a little deeper into the problem with the card and have found that it absolutely doesn't like built in graphics (ie. computer won't even boot with the card in it). So, it's not DOA. As an added bonus, I can get it to work on my other computer, but it crashes it as soon as Win2000 loads while making the screen look like something from Vango.

I'm going to see if it might be some other card messing with it, or using an alternate operating system, however, it has ceased to be useful to me, because it won't allow the computer that I intended to use it on to run.

Will update in a day or two when I have a chance to dig into the problems. If there are any suggestions, please do. And no, the built in video can't be disabled. Also, this card is completely unfindable on the internet. I've only found a few Korean sites that have matchning numbers. I do know that it is a Geforce420 NV17 GPU. Never had this much trouble with a vid card before.

that card is made by visiontek dude.. that problem seems to be happening with PCI cards. my roomate also has one and it gave us hell when we tried to install it on a FIC KW-15 mobo with built in intel 810e video, eventually we got it working as you did and it also crashed. I managed to grab another computer with built in video and intel chip with intel video but not made by FIC and it worked fine... so i dunno whats up with that. its jsut shady. The computers we built for my original customers was 75 computers with those cards and they are working fine till today... So i dont know what to say... ive been around comps all my life and that stumps me too. my gf4 ti 4200 is insane but its also AGP so you cant compare it.

You should resolve this trade completely before you start another. I have not heard back from normalicy a of yet to know if he is satisfied with his end of the trade.

Hey i havent hear from normalcy ever again. why am i getting shafted? now i cant make sales and what not? look at my heatware i never shafted anyone. why would i start now, actually by me trying to sell smoething else on the same forum or even other forums is not trying to hide. it shows that i have nothing to hide.. i told him that at this exact moment i cannot give him his 50 bucks for the card. he gave me some more info about the card ans said i guess im stuck for now. i havent heard from him since. He didnt say orhh you must pay me now or ohh im gunna mail you the card he said im stuck. i replied back to him saying that i would be able to pay soon. I jsut moved and i need some cash to stablize. I was only asking for a few weeks. am i a criminal? god...

You didn't have to complain here, all you had to do was reply back to me. I just need to hear that when you sell the card you are trying to sell now, you immediately refund normalicy. He is tired of the excuses and delays.

I noticed at anands you said the card was sold.

Please, reply via pm or email. I sent you 2-3 pm's about this.
