If you young guys were as smart as you think you are you would know that Ben Gay is for wussies and you would also know that when we fart it damn sure ain't dust. But rest assured you will be where we are one day but only if you are lucky.
Count me in. Will be 42 soon. Can't complain but sure woundn't mind going back to the 70's for a day or two when cars were CARS and rock was ROCK. You younger folk have missed out on somthing that will never return.
The sounds of a v8 in almost all cars (it was normal too us)
The sight of smoking tires coming of the REAR tires, not the front
Fighting over ashtrays at WORK (yep, you coud smoke anywhere)
Poptop cans with a removal strip that you would drop into the drink and acidenitally choke on later
Crackerjacks with half decent toys inside
Tweakable carburators & spark plugs you can get at
Thats just a few. Theres a lot more of course.
In a way I do envy the youth because thier going to see some wild technoligy that we wont, as in gamming and vritual worlds and God knows what Ya know?
LOL kookoo... I was born in 77 but i still remember the car my dad had... 67 Fairlane with a hot lil 289 in it... I remember sittin' in the back seat at 4 yrs old and tellin' dad to floor it... I remember a lot from the early 80's things will never been the same... Now we just hear the sound of the pissed off bumble bee mufflers the ricers have on them... I love it when i take my beast out for a drive... 72 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4... 65 Pontiac 389 under the hood She's got a roar that blows ear drums when the pedal is sittin' on the floor.
A lot of knowledge and experience here at 47. Count me in, but jsut remember jasper: you may be the leader of the over the hill gang, but Flying Penguin is still the "old fart".
