IBM to Enable Honda Drivers to Talk to Cars
A truck as early as 2005

No surprise there. Honda dealers have been pushing for a pickup in the lineup for sometime now. The one thing I don't see how Honda could over come is the bland image associated with the Honda brand. Trucks are all about gusto and bravado. And Honda just doesn't have it. Virtually all the trucks on the road share the same platform as their SUV cousins to save on development and manufacturing cost. Honda would have to play by the same rule. So what does Honda have to offer as a truck? A chopped CRV. Yikes!!!

People don't buy Honda for wild and crazy.
They buy it (at least this person)
because it is the BEST vehicle manufacturer on the planet.
It makes dependable, well engineered cars that hold their value
extremely well.

When the truck is introduced I guarantee it will be a top seller.

honda does make great cars. I have a civic and love it. she aint fast or snazzy, but if I dont have to put it in the shop every 6mos., Im happy.
