This is a great forum, how come very few support it?
These are good questions. Fact is this forum doesn't get the traffic it deserves.What can we do to get more members here? Over 2500 registered but seems most rarely post.
Folks talk about missing AGN3D and then don't post at PCA. Guess what? This is the closest thing to AGN3D there is. People state that if there was more traffic they would post more and stick around. Well if everyone who said that posted, there would be much more traffic here and build up. It seems like people want more posting but by someone else.
People are also lurking, yet they don't post and complain about the lack of threads. What are they waiting for? No one is required to post but they must figure traffic is just going to materialize. Then they go elsewhere to places like Anands or elsewhere cause it gets more traffic.
Looking at some old threads, there are a lot of longtime members that used to post but no longer. Guess they figure PCA is always going to be here.
blade has asked numerous people to post at PCA and they stick around a short while, then leave. I've aksed people to post and they post a couple times then leave. How many times has it been done? Way too many. It gets to you.
Not many forums are worth being at-well run, decent traffic with good members. PCA has cool forums and is under good leadership. And this forum has its own rich history now. Seems like people don't appreciate something until its gone.
Hear, hear sbp!!! I lurk at Anands, there is "some" good info there, but you need to weed through the crap! and posting is almost worthless unless you like having your butt chewed out or banned for some unknown reason. Here it's all good. Blade has kept this place open for our benefit, please don't lurk.......

We all have things to take care of life and yes those most come first.
PCA is a good forum that keeps trolls out and yet no traffic. PCA's impact in nailing bad traders is great. Even other forums recognize that, even if they try to not respect that fact. So why the abandonment?
Will people get misty eyed reminiscenting about PCA if its not around {which hopefully won't ever happen}
