Does anyone know if the Compaq Aspen2 motherboard (FIC SD11 OEM) will support Thunderbird Athlons? Or will it only support the Athlon 'Classic'? I know for sure that the FIC version will support both variants.
I have an ASUS K7V mobo with a 900MHz (factory locked at 750) Athlon that works fine.
I also have an Aspen2 that won't post with the above cpu in it. (BTW the video cards and ram that I tried with the setup are all ok)
I just want to find out it it's worth hanging on to the Aspen2 mobo.
