i've been out of the loop for a lil' bit..
wanna go into detail why one would choose the kt400a over the NForce2 SSP?
i really like the NF2's multiplier unlocking function

well, first off the nforce2 is just as fast as the kt400. the 400a will have True ddr400 support, more stuff intergrated among other things. Like better audio and what not...also, it is rummered to also have dual bank ddr.
I have had great luck with the via stuff and nvidia is just learing about chipsets.

i see... and what of this stuffs about dual channel DDR and what nots?
is there going to be a new type of DDR available or is that just a chipset capability that works with existing DDR?

no, im talking about that double bank stuff. that was first intrudsed on the nforce one and is also present on the nforce2. its jsut put in 2 sticks of memory and it is suposed to add extra proformance using both the sticks on seperate chanels or something along those lines.
See you thursday. didnt get the tickets. Ill get them wednesday.

DDR II wont be out till the end of the year or next year , but Dual DDR is supposed to have better bandwidth throughout the system reducing any bottleknecks .
