DDR RAM, CPU, mobo & other stuff for sale

Post by chosenfool »

hello all! im back after a long long while! :)
i got a few items i decided to let go, since its just collecting dust. here they are:

RAM:
1 256MB PC3200 GEIL brand (CAS2.5 - 6-3-3 2T ) - $75 shipped (VDIMM needs to be at least 2.6V to clock to 400MHz)
2 256MB PC2100 Infineon brand - $50 each shipped
1 512MB PC2100 Winbond - $100 shipped

mobos:
1 Gigabyte 8SRX (SiS645) - $60 shipped
1 Abit KT7A-RAID (not flashable to support AMD XP chips) - $25 shipped

CPUs (all OEMs):
1 1.3GHz celeron tualatin - $35 shipped
1 1.6GHz (256k L2) - $85 shipped
1 2.0AGHz (512k L2) - $ $120 shipped

other stuff:
1 3COM officeconnect cable modem - $25 shipped AS IS, NO RETURNS (no CD, no USB cable, just the modem, cat5 cable and power supply. still works before it was replaced, but will NOT WORK WITH COMCAST'S SERVERS ANYMORE = please check with your local cable modem service first for compatibility. the box says 3CR29210 on the back, but is actually a 3CR29220 / CM29220 when i installed it with comcast last year) . again, this may NOT work with your cable company, so please check first. AS IS, NO RETURNS!

1 Motorola CyberSURFR modem (unknown model #) - $15 shipped AS IS, no cables, no CDs, only has the power supply with it. (this is OLD - i got it when i first had cable modem in 1998. its the comcast@Home modem before there was even DOCSIS, and may have NO chance of even working at all with ANY cable modem service providers. Cant even find the MAC # for it, but has the S/N on the bottom, so im not sure how anyone can still use it. Maybe for research?) again, AS IS, NO RETURNS.

1 Pinnacle PCTV TV tuner - $50 shipped (got this 3 months ago, but i find i dont use it at all) complete with all the cable, remote and CD. i think this is NOT compatible with Radeons, but i havent checked myself.

****************************************************
i ship via USPS Priority mail with SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION. I email the confirmation number as soon as the shipment is sent out. I ship to the continental U.S. only, no Canada or overseas, sorry.

on heatware im CHOSENFOOL. on ebay im also CHOSENFOOL. My status on Paypal is Verified, if that helps. :)

Paypal or money orders are accepted. no checks or CODs, please. And sorry, i WONT send first regardless of anything (been burned BAD before :( , so i hope you understand).

return policy: All the items are guaranteed to work 100% (except for the modems). You have a 5 days to test them from the date of receipt, as known by the signature confirmation date. IF within 5 days they fail to work, i need them sent back the same way they were shipped (USPS priority mail with signature confirmation only). I WILL REFUND YOU YOUR MONEY BACK 100%, less the ship back costs, the same way you paid me. no returns after 5 days (assumed working 100%).

please PM me or email me for any inquiries at cfstuff4sale@yahoo.com . im using that now since chosenfool@yahoo.com is already full.

thank you for checking out this thread. I appreciate it!

I am using a 3com officeconnect with ATTBI for any curious buyers out there- $25 is a bargain, but I bought mine about a year ago :( where were you back then?
-there is no replacement for displacement-

using the same modem ;)

actually, here's an interesting note about ATTBI also:
Comcast BOUGHT OUT ATTBI as of 12 days ago (it was finalized then, Nov 18), and soon will be called Comcast (feb 14). so it will be a matter of time before the migration to comcast's servers are completed (maybe within 2nd half of 03). Sad to say, i am guessing that the 3COM officeconnect modems wont be supported anymore by then. so if you want to get the 3COM now, or are ON ONE now, the outlook is not that bleak - Comcast may send you a letter and an email offering a FREE replacement in place of your current modem that isnt compatible with their servers any longer (as they migrate). They did this in my area, and sent me a new replacement free of charge (they even had FREE S&H). Im not sure if theyre gonna do this with ATTBI customers, but the likelihood is real.

not sure if RoadRunner or Cox still supports the 3COM Officeconnect modems - all i know is that Comcast's servers are VERY picky with the modems.

hope that info helps. :)

I had thought that Comcast was only going to take over the eastern portion of the U.S. Oh well, as long as they smooth the modem thing over when they do-
