Beware Pay Pal Scam

Post by blade »

<b>Beware new Scam</b>. That claims to be from Pay Pal. It isn't. It starts with this:

<i>"This e-mail is the notification of recent innovations taken by PayPal to detect inactive customers and non-functioning mailboxes."</i>

And then asks for your credit card number and other info. DELETE it!

Anytime you get something like that, always email (to an email you know is theirs) the company and ask them if they sent it. And no respectful company will be asking for your credit card number via email. ;)

Good of you to post this,

ive received the same e-mail twice in the last week so beware. it does look pretty authentic, but its not. nobody should be asking for you credit card as verification to a membership!!!
