Funny. It's like this numerology nonsense that claims there's hidden codes in the Bible that describe everything from WWII to 9-11 (of course none of these "predictions" are ever noticed until AFTER the event).

Good article on that in Scientific American's Skeptic column last month.

Well, not scientific, but they did invent "terrorism". That is probably the extent of what they came up with. And saraja, what is so scientific about terrorism.

u wanna know whats funny is that muslims view jesus as a prophet
yet they dont believe he was the son of god
in john 1:1 it says "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

ok so in order to say that jesus is not god would indicate that jesus was a liar
the one qualification for whether your a profit or not is that all your predicitons be correct 100 percent of the time and many prophets saw the coming of the christ
also the 300 prophecies of jews came true before jesus had come so that is more evidence

to counteract this muslims say our bible is wrong and their queeran(ps i like that alot blade) is right
when the queeran was written hundreds of years after the bible
and the bible is backed up by the dead sea scrolls
the queeran is backed up by some dork who was educated by a catholic nun who then claimed he was a prophet

Ironically, the West has the Muslim world to thank for taking us out of the Dark Ages. Muslims nations saved all the knowledge from the Romans when the Roman Empire fell. All during our dark ages, the Muslim world enjoyed a technological renaissance.

Except for oppressive religious restrictions (which were just as bad in Europe in that time under the "Dictatorship" of the Catholic church) living conditions in Muslim countries were very good - the hight of technology in that time.

When the Muslims conquered Spain, their technology spread through Europe. Europe re-discovered it's lost heritage: Greek and Roman texts lost to the Europeans were rediscovered and translated from Muslim language versions. This sparked the European Renaissance.

I'm not defending radical Islamic fundamentalists, just pointing out that your statement is a bit narrow-minded.

Islam is a religion. Like many religions (including the Catholic religion I might add) it has been warped by sick people in power to make the masses do their bidding.
