It's just after midnight here in NJ. CPU was here when I got home from work @ 9PM. I've got this 1700+ TBred-B Core DLT3C JIUHB 0319 running 2.3 GHz (11*210 FSB / 1.7v ) and it is aircraft carrier stable!
That's an 830 Mhz OC and I haven't EVEN begun to tweak it out or test different chipset, memory or CPU voltages. Who knows where the ceiling is on this thing. I laid the wood to it on a 12x200 boot and it booted into windows fine but I think I had too much voltage on it ( 1.85v . default is 1.5v ) and I got some explorer errors after running some benchmarks w/ Sandra '03, so I got out of there and laid off the juice a little.
This thing is standing toe to toe w/ my Barton 2500+ which will ahem, "only" hit 12x188 (2.27 GHz ). Barton will have nothing to do with FSBs over 188 and be stable. Only the 512K L2 cache is keeping the Barton in the hunt. Barton is nicknamed "Gary" after Sponge Bob's pet snail.
In fairness tho. I'm using a CAK II 38 / Senfu 7300 rpm on the 1700+ right now. The Barton was using an SLK800 w/ a 52cfm 80mm Mechatronics fan. Have to try them with the same fan / HS for it to be a fair comparo.
Here's some benchies (props to Nascar for the hosting.
