Decided to test the water to see if there was any interest in this case. We had it in our living room and made a little more noise than I'd like for that room (would be fine in a den). This is a way cool case and would be even better if you have the skills to add a little art to it. The case is sold at Directron and here is a link to their site. If you click on the review link under references you can see more pictures too. Now for what mods I have done...
- 120mm hole and crome grill on right side (drive bay) with 120mm fan currently blowing out
- 2 120mm holes and filters on top (one on mobo side and one on drive bay side) with 120mm fans and both currently blowing in
- 2 92mm holes and filter covers w/o out filter media on the left side towards the front with 92mm fans and both currently blowing out
- clear window cut on left side behind the two 92mm fans
- blue light (6 or 8 inch) inside in front of case next to mobo
- there is a switch for the light but is not mounted so it is inside of case
- There are also 1 80mm fan in front and 2 80mm fans in back (standard on case)
The filters on mounted on the outside but I'm told they should be on the inside. I believe I have crome grill gaurds if you rather have those instead of the filters.
As you can see Directron sells them new and unmoded for $159 + shipping with generic 300watt power supply so I'm asking $115 w/o power supply(Will be packed in original box and packing).
PICS for some reason really made the dust stand out. It is much cleaner than the couple of screwed up pics show. There are a couple of small spots that I touched up with paint...
