If you have a composite out on the card then connect it to the composite (line in) on the VCR. Put the VCR on line input, and set your TV to pickup the VCR's signal.

You need to enable TV out on the computer. Go to display properties, Advanced tab, Geforce4, Device Selection and select the TV out.

The problem is that, normally, on NVidia card you can't get both the monitor and TV out to come on at the same time.

There's a dandy little taskbar app call TvTool that fixes that and gives you a LOT more control over TV out (including one click and keyboard toggles to enable TV out). Worth the $12: http://tvtool.info/index_e.htm

75 Ohm Load..

Post by eGoCeNTRoNiX »

It may also depend on how good/bad your VCR is.. My TV has A/V input, but it doesn't have a 75Ohm load on it, so I had to run mine through a modulator to use the TV out.. Check your manual and see if this applies to you.. I don't know how you'd go about testing the VCR to see if it has that 75Ohm load or not though.. GL eGo
