I have been using Winamp to convert mp3s to WAVs and am unhappy with the results from the two plug-ins i have been using. If anyone has any suggestions for a good (free) mp3 to wav conversion program i would be very grateful.

I think Music Match jukebox will do it too. I am using the registered version now, but I think the free one will still convert MP3 to wave and visa versa. I don't do that much though, unless I am burning a CD for my radio that does not play mp3 or want to edit it. Otherwise I mostly convert my Cds TO mp3s for the computer and players that I have that will play em, then I burn em to CDR.
SOmetimes I do like to remove parts of a song, like all that talking junk in Meatloafs songs. Some good songs then ruin them (my opinion) with talking or trash in the middle! Cut the crap out and you actually have some good music
