I have 7 my wife hates it!

Post by sheerdark »

I have 7 computers, never need the heat in the winter ;-)

In the bedroom: (our bedroom stays pretty warm and noisy with all running - 2 fans around the bed)
Main PC: AMD XP 2100+ (runs 24-7)
Secondary: AMD 750 (to use when the main pc is busy)
Wife's Machine: AMD Duron 1 Ghz (not on all the time)

Livingroom:
HTPC: AMD Athlon 1.4
Lappy: AMD K6 366 (yes, i still use it around the house)

Spare Bedroom (guest pc's):
AMD K6-2 650
AMD K6-2 450

I have many more sitting around my mother's home collecting dust, but I refuse to bring them to my apartment, since we really dont' have the extra space and I get in trouble for the amount that I have now :p I have even given away a lot of the older ones that are too slow for my patience.

Three PC's ... (so far) ...

Post by NetScribe »

I have three although I generally only use the main one.

Main - Gateway 1 Ghz
Laptop - Toshiba 400 Mhz
Test - Tangent 233 Mhz

I picked up the test machine for $190 from a college up in Ohio that was unloading their old machines. Couldn't resist
