In memory of LoneWolfX1X

I just heard he passed away last month.

He hasn't been online here since late last year. I don't know what happend or any other details. I just hope this isn't true.

According to his profile he's 24 years old and his name is Ken McCarthy, lives in New Hampshire. From what I remember he was always a very polite and level headed guy. If this is true then I am so sorry.

I heard about this from a forum member who doesn't post much here, but has been around a long time. I did heard back that all is known is that it was a suicide.

This is pretty much confirmed.

This makes the second forum member who died by suicide. Of course, they were also members at other forums too.

Makes one think, maybe being nicer is the way to go. You never know what's on ones mind and what can set them off the deep end. Sometimes we think since things are so good and happy for us, we don't understand it why one is feeling the opposite.

I'll try and find out more info on Ken..

I agree blade.. I tried to seach the obituaries in his area but I didn't have any luck.. I have been trying to find out more even though I didn't really know him that well, but I know I posted on some of his stuff and vice versa... Always seemed like a cool guy.

RIP LoneWolfX1X
As many of you know, LoneWolfX1X, created a troubling thread this morning entitled "Goodbye, and Thanks."

It is with great remorse that I announce that he took his own life this afternoon.

We will not be placing his last thread into public view out of respect, but know that it contained many kind words about this community and the people who gather here.

I will leave you with his words:

"So as I leave this world, I take some small degree of comfort in knowing that amidst the throngs of people charging headlong into mediocrity with all the the enthusiasm and awareness of a puppy chasing a car, there are a few who think like I do...differently."

This is such a horrible thing to hear.

I traded with him a few years back and he seemed like a really nice guy. He was a top notch trader and was very polite in his emails and messages.

Not to sound disrespectful but does anyone have the text of the "suicide post" he made? I'd like to know what was actually going on in his head at the time. Was he troubled? Family problems? Drugs? Money? Booze?

Sucks that it had to end that way, my heart goes out to his close friends and family/loved ones.
