hmm, mine sits right nect to my huge monitor and I have never had a problem

It just depends on the time of day.. :P j/j lol.. I've had my receiver all over.. right next to the monitor and 2 ft away. But I've also experienced problems with it going stupid on me SOMETIMES when it's close to the monitor.. No big deal though..

Hey Greg your first solution was to RMA it. ;)
that has nothign to do with anything. It jsut sounds defective. RMA/return it.

I have one I hardly ever use but i like it

Much heavier then the 500 which is what I like about it.

I like this mouse, great mouse for its cheap price. Iv had mine for about 2 years now, and it still works great.
