Does anybody have any experience with "easytune" from gigabyte?
What I would like to know is if "Easytune" has different versions as in "inexpensive" motherboard = downgraded version and "expensive" motherboard = full version.
The board I'm looking at is

in the description it says " EasyTuneTM4@BIOS"

hey there. long time. but ive been fartin around and got my sys runnin pretty nice. reading as 2800+ alot of research as to what is the compatable way to do things. easy tune works just fine. ive changed the setting and OC'd it 100mhz. increasing the front side bus auto adjusts the other options. my multi is locked so i can do nothing with that but i had to go in and reduce my dram to 166mhz as it was at 200mhz in bios so i could be 1 to 1 (CPU_RAM)mhz. ive increased the fsb and benched every 2 mhz with PCMark 2002. when i got to 176fsb it would shut down the bench at the same point every time. it probably has something to do with the voltage but i have not gotten that far yet . the only thing i noticed was that you need to save and choose another option to keep it oc'd on boot. dont membr sorry. i noticed that my fsb in bios would read the same(166mhz) till i changed and saved to match the easytune reading yet in pc (cpuid-astra32and in mycompprop) it showed the oc even though the bios would open at 166mhz . now when i open straight to bios it reads the oc... other than that ive havent had a problem with it just be sure to keep ur cpu temp under eye while doing anything mines at 56c under full load and during bench stock cooling so i mght be pushing it ill leave it there it runs smooth during gaming and no crashing so im happy NEED MORE COOLING waaaaa bye philo
